For individuals without symptoms, cancer screening can help detect cancer at an early stage. By the time symptoms appear, cancer is often already at a more advanced stage [1]. Early detection of cancer signs can improve survival rates and reduce mortality [1–3]. Overall, MCD testing has the potential to increase screening rates through a single blood test, thereby enhancing cancer detection capabilities [2].
Guardant Health’s multi-cancer detection (MCD) test* is not suitable for pregnant women or individuals who have previously been diagnosed with cancer. Your clinical eligibility will be determined by the medical professional with whom you have scheduled an appointment. There are no other restrictions for undergoing this test.
Guardant Health’s MCD test* is intended to complement routine cancer screening and does not replace standard, age-recommended cancer screening tests.
